Winterfest

January 19, 2018 - January 21, 2018

Beloit Parks and Recreation is hosting Winterfest on January 19-21. Winterfest is a three-day festival celebrating outdoor and indoor winter activities for every age and ability throughout the Beloit area.

Some event highlights include:

  • Open skate with FREE skate rental with a non-perishable food item at Edwards Ice Arena
  • Family movie night with free admission and free popcorn
  • Winter Walk About at Nature at the Confluence
  • Snowshoe instruction from Rocktown Adventures at Nature at the Confluence
  • Log rolling demonstrations at the Stateline YMCA
  • Free snowshoeing at the Big Hill Center in Big Hill Park
  • Open family swim at Beloit Memorial High School
  • And everyone’s favorite–horse drawn sleigh rides through Big Hill Park

There are also some great tournaments to get into including Euchre and 4-on-4 Co-ed Volleyball. There are competitive and recreational brackets, and there is still room for additional teams. Click here for sign up information.

There are tons of activities for younger children as well including winter-themed arts and crafts, family bingo, family hiking, an indoor snowball fight, and more!
