SUMMARY:Ari Lennox
DESCRIPTION:Ari Lennox is soul in its purest form: Fearless\, radiant\, and unapologetically hers. Hailing from Washington\, D.C.\, she burst onto the scene with her 2019 debut Shea Butter Baby\, a modern classic that gave the world platinum-certified anthems like “Shea Butter Baby” and “BMO\,” along with gold-certified staples “Whipped Cream” and “Up Late.” The project earned her GRAMMY\, Soul Train\, and NAACP nominations\, cementing her as one of R&B’s most essential voices. \nNever one to stand still\, Lennox soared to new heights in 2021 with “Pressure\,” a chart-topping anthem that delivered her first solo Billboard Hot 100 entry. The momentum carried into her acclaimed 2022 album age/sex/location\, hailed by Rolling Stone as an “R&B gem” and celebrated as a bold\, intimate statement from a star in full command of her artistry. \nOn stage\, Ari’s presence is magnetic. From spellbinding sets at Coachella to her triumphant 2023 sold-out headlining tour that moved 89\,000 tickets worldwide\, she has proven herself a generational performer who connects deeply with fans everywhere she goes. \nNow\, after reigniting the charts in 2024 with her soulful single “Smoke\,” Ari steps into 2025 with her “Soft Girl Era – a fearless\, radiant new chapter that signals not just an evolution\, but a revolution in R&B. With her next album on the horizon\, Ari Lennox isn’t just making music\, she’s shaping culture\, writing her legacy in real time\, and reminding the world that soul is not just a sound – It’s a force.

SUMMARY:A Tribute to Steely Dan w/ Deacon Blues
DESCRIPTION:DEACON BLUES was born in the twelfth year of the 21st century. Eleven stellar musicians\, composers\, and educators based in Chicago\, they share a unique passion for the Becker/Fagen repository\, better known to the world as Steely Dan. \nThe group reads as a "who's who" of world class musicians. Chicago luminaries and Grammy® winners such as Howard Levy (Kenny Loggins\, Paul Simon\, Bela Fleck)\, Chuck Webb (Aretha Franklin\, Ramsey Lewis\, and Al Di Meola)\, Sugar Blue (The Rolling Stones)\, Billy Branch (The Sons of Blues)\, Khari Parker (George Benson\, Destiny’s Child)\, Richard Patterson (Miles Davis\, Boz Skaggs)\, and Bob Lizik (The Beach Boys; Brian Wilson)\, have been featured as special guests with the band.\nThis stunning collective is essentially the personification of what The Dan did on record – gathering top studio musicians for their albums – The Deacons are doing this in a live format. \nSpeaking of “The Deacons” – that is actually the moniker of Deacon Blues’ alter ego – their original band. With support from legendary Chicago FM radio station personalities such as Bob Stroud (The Drive) and Scott Mackay (The River)\, The Deacons will be debuting their first album of original music\, in a similar musical landscape as ‘The Dan\,’ in 2019\, along with Kikoen's other original vehicle: THE LOTUS KINGS. \nIn the words of legendary Chicago FM Radio personality Bob Stroud (WDRV-FM “The Drive”) – “If you are a Dan fan\, you owe it to yourself to see Deacon Blues — they’ve got all the right musicians with all the right chops — they are an incredible tribute to the music of Steely Dan!”
