SUMMARY:Comedian Bobby Tessel Live at Geneva Stage
DESCRIPTION:Bobby Tessel is one of only a few comics to appear on both\, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”\, and “The Late Show with David Letterman”. What does that mean? For some\, quite a bit\, for others\, not much really. But he’s done it\, and better to have those credits than not have them. Bobby also won the Northern Californian Comedy Competition and was a Finalist in the San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition. Bobby has his own comedy special\, titled\, “Not Right Now” on Dry Bar\, as well. After high school\, Bobby attended Arizona State University\, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He then proceeded to utilize that education by pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. Tessel’s first time on stage was to a packed house at the Funnybone Comedy Club in Cincinnati\, and he destroyed the room. Since that night\, he hasn’t looked back. “I love stand-up”\, Tessel says\, “I love putting words in a sequence\, that no one in the entire world has ever thought of\, in order to get a desired response\, laughter. I think that’s cool.”
