Warrens, Wisconsin is host to the World’s Largest Cranberry Festival and 2025 marks the 52nd celebration! The annual community celebration is the largest festival of its kind in the state. Founded in 1973, the village of Warrens, with a population of 500, welcomes over 175,000 visitors. The festival draws people from around the world for small-town fun with a big attitude!
Warrens looks forward to hosting the 52nd annual festival to be held September 26-28, 2025.
The festival is perhaps best known for its shopping, and boasts over 800 arts and crafts booths from 26 states that have been judged for their unusual and interesting art or craft. It is a great place to do your early Christmas shopping.
The flea market features new merchandise, antiques, primitives, crocks, pottery, paper collectibles, depression glass, hunting and fishing supplies, toys, knives, signs and more.
The farmers market has over 80 vendors of fall produce, including painted pumpkins, dried flowers, honey, maple syrup, gourds, Amish noodles and pies, apples, squash, fall vegetables, and a variety of cranberry products, from Craisins to juice, jams and jellies to fresh cranberries, candies, honey, mustards and wine to sauces, salsas and dips. Don’t forget to try the chocolate-covered cranberries!
You may eat your way through the festival grounds. Start at a pancake breakfast with cranberry syrup at the Catholic Church to kick off your morning. You can pig out on cranberry cream puffs, or cheesecake on a stick dipped in hot fudge or caramel, and topped with nuts! Take a break, sit down at the Baptist Church, and try homemade cranberry pie, soups and a full meal. Try a gyro, Jamaican jerk chicken, steak and pork Bosnian lamb sandwiches, spicy Chinese and Thai, Cajun shrimp, Greek or Italian food, Indian fry bread, Mexican and pizza. You name it, you are sure to find it through 80 food booths.
Musicians are throughout the grounds during the weekend with flute music of the Andes, piano and dulcimer. You can find a DJ and local artists performing along the festival streets, balloon artists, jugglers, a petting zoo, camel rides, monkeys and kangaroos for the kids.
A free walking Cranberry Marsh Tour is available on Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to noon. See the parade on Sunday at 1 p.m. The admission-free festival includes a wide variety of events and activities for the entire family.
Warrens is located eight miles northwest of Tomah off Interstate 94 West to Exit 135 in central Wisconsin’s “Heart of Cranberry Country,” where there are more families growing cranberries than anywhere else in the world!
