Experience true Midwest charm at Walworth County Fair, one of Wisconsin’s oldest and largest county fairs. Established in 1849 and located in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, the Walworth County Fair welcomes you to join in the celebration, showcasing excellent food, exhibits, entertainment, and fun for the whole family!
The 2023 fair kicks off on Wednesday, August 30 and runs through Labor Day (September 4). In addition to the live animals, carnival rides and grandstand events, make sure to check out the Discovery Barn and the Barnyard Adventure Area. Both award-winning areas offer hands-on activities and learning for all ages.
There are a number of special contests happening in 2023, including a pie bake-off, Pinewood Derby, Birdhouse Build-Off and the NEW Pumpkin Carving Contest. Find details on how to enter these contests online here.
Another fun component of this year’s fair is the second annual Combine for Kids. Local farmers volunteer to give kids rides around the horse track in their combines. Combines for Kids is fun with a purpose: it also serves as a fundraiser to benefit the Discovery Barn.
